BURNLEY embarked on their groundbreaking American tour this week.
On the back of the club's announcement of a proposed link with a professional club in the USL, the club will take part in two friendlies against Carolina Railhawks and Minnesota Thunder.

Carolina Railhakws were founded in 2006 and play their home games at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.

Minnesota Thunder were founded in 1990 as an amateur team, turning professional in 1994.

Both teams are currently playing in the USL First Division, the second tier of the American pyramid.

The games will be played at the NSC Stadium, where work has been undertaken to remove the running track and provide a stadium that will hold 12,000 fans, with potential to expand to 20,000.

The game against Carolina Railhawks is being streamed live online at: http://usl.playonsports.tv
