Penny set for Thunder debut
BURNLEY hope to hand Peru international keeper Diego Penny his debut in Tuesday's game at Minnesota Thunder.
The 24-year-old was not able to face Cary Railhawks this morning after suffering a delay with his visa application, and Coyle said: "Hopefully he will join up with us by the weekend.
"I spoke to Diego last week and it was always going to take seven to 10 days, so I'm expecting him at the weekend, and then he will come back to England with us, ready to go to Scotland.
"We would have loved to have Diego in by now, initially it was a blow that we had to get the work permit, given his international standing.
"But the good thing is we know he will hook up with us soon and quickly integrate with the players."
Besart Berisha was also late linking up with the squad, arriving on Wednesday night after similar issues, having to apply for a visa from Albania, and was this morning hoping to make his first appearance for the club since pre-season last summer.
