HEARTBROKEN family and friends gathered today to say goodbye to "talented and fun-loving" Burnley teenager Leanne Ryan.

Leanne's mum Andrea and brothers Robert, Jamie, Jack and Sam were joined by more than 75 people at Burnley Crematorium for the funeral of the 15-year-old.

Mourners listened to Mr Peter Goulding, minister of the Full Life Church, as he described Leanne as "a real fighter" with an "infectious" laugh. He also read out a poem Leanne had chosen and played some of her favourite songs.

The Shuttleworth College pupil died at home in Allerton Drive, Whittlefield, on July 8th.
