BURNLEY will again try to play their Twenty/20 Final at East Lancashire on Friday night.
Qasim Ali's men were frustrated last Friday, as the rain put paid to any chances of the game starting.

And although Tuesday – St Swithin's Day – brought more inclement weather, the old wives' tale that rain on July 15th is followed by 40 days more, looks like it won't be a problem.

Light rain is forecast all day, but it should be dry for the final, which starts at 6-15 p.m., as Burnley look to add to wins over Nelson, Lowerhouse, Todmorden and Rawtenstall in the competition.

The only game the Turfites have not won so far was their Group C clash with Colne, which they lost on the toss of a coin!

The locals have a virtuallly full-strength side to select from, with the only change from the derby defeat at Lowerhouse on Sunday seeing Stephen Whitaker come in for Mohammad Jamal, although Jamal returns for the league games at home to Ramsbottom tomorrow, and at Rawtenstall on Sunday.

Lowerhouse, meanwhile, look to build on a superb run of seven wins in eight games as they continue to put pressure on the leaders.

Charlie Cottam, who experienced his first defeat at home to Haslingden on Saturday, takes his side to Bent Head tomorrow, aiming to avenge that setback, before Bacup make the trip to the West End on Sunday.

In the Ribblesdale League, Padiham will try and keep their double charge on track. Tomorrow they are at Clitheroe in the league, hoping to win again to look to capitalise on any slip from leaders Great Harwood, before a Ramsbottom Cup semi-final at Settle, for the right to face Ribblesdale Wanderers in the final.

Wanderers beat Read in the last four to reach the Ribblesdale League showpiece, and the sides do battle again tomorrow at Whalley Road.
