Burnley Crown Court was temporarily in lockdown after a man began shouting at a member of the court staff.

Police were called to the incident shortly after 2pm yesterday (Friday).

A spokesman for Lancashire Police confirmed the court was in lockdown and added: "There was a disturbance shortly after 2pm. Officers attended and one man was arrested."
