Shop supervisor denies stealing £3,600 from boss

A Colne woman appeared before Burnley magistrates accused of stealing more than £3,600 from her boss when she was a temporary shop supervisor.
Emma Louise Matthews, (35) denied theft by employee.
She is alleged to have stolen £3,620.57 when she worked part-time at McColls Convenience Store in Glenroy Avenue in Colne, between February 1st and April 20th, last year.
Matthews, of Birtwistle Avenue, Colne, will face trial on September 1st.
