Genk reject Burnley’s opening offer for Vossen
But it is expected the Clarets will come to an agreement with the Belgian club for the former Middlesbrough loan man.
Burnley are thought to have bid €2m, or around £1.42m for the 26-year-old, but Genk are holding out for in the region of €3-4m.

Hide AdVossen was in England for talks with Burnley on Tuesday, and is thought to have agreed personal terms and come through a medical, with the clubs now moving towards an agreeable fee for both parties.
The Belgium international was back with the Genk squad yesterday in Orshof for training ahead of a team building exercise in a swamp, but Sean Dyche is hopeful of concluding a deal in time for him to link up with the squad for their training camp in France next week.
Genk manager Peter Maes said: “As long as there’s no agreement, Jelle remains a Genk player and I will treat him accordingly. But we need to work out a solution sooner rather than later.”
